Proslogia non profit organization: Our Mission
Mission Statement: “Prologia” is dedicated to helping all people world-wide gain access to free and appropriate learning opportunities. We are concerned with parity in the forms of:
- Building foundational language skills for children in the language of their family and in the language of the country they live in.
- Giving children appropriate instruction to account for their specific linguistic needs
- Giving children access to appropriate and effective reading instruction.
It is unconscionable that the wealthiest and most advanced nation on earth, full of the most intelligent and educated people in the world, cannot adequately teach its children to read. Prologia Inc: Non-Profit Organization for Education Research & Action is exploring the reasons for data that suggests that the US is not effectively teaching its children. Prologia Inc is also seeking to proactively solve the problem of poor reading scores among US children through improved language instruction by involving families and educators who have a shared responsibility to teach children.
We are doing this through:
- Partnering with companies that provide gamified learning (ABCMouse, Adventure Academy, Prodigy) to bring learning opportunities to children everywhere.
- Advocating for effective learning programs for emerging bilingual learners
- Networking with educators, schools and organizations who are involved in the education of young people
